My salves are released in small homemade batches after a special (and proprietary) infusion process that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! In our home, we grab a salve before we EVER pop a pill!

ABOUT EACH SALVE:

 DANDELION SALVE: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond and Sunflower Oils (Infused with Dandelion & Calendula), Beeswax, Lavender Essential Oil

• Dandelion & Calendula are power-house herbs when it comes to skin and wound care! They speed the healing process and support skin re-generation. In our home, we use it on bug bites, stings, scrapes, cuts, burns, scars, acne, cracks, dry/chafed skin, dry elbows, diaper rash, rashes, hangnails, weird dry spots, and more. Its pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties make it an infection fighter and pain reducer. We consider it an all-purpose skin healing balm.*

 BONES & JOINTS: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond and Hempseed Oil (Infused with Comfrey), Beeswax, Essential Oil Blend of Frankincense & Lavender

• Comfrey Salve has been traditionally used as a topical ointment for relieving bone and joint pain. It's commonly found in pain-relieving creams, particularly those that target arthritis and is noted in some studies to be particularly effective for knee and back pain! Frankincense and Lavender add to its intense anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving qualities! It heals tissue so quickly, it should NOT be used on open or deep wounds.*  

 MUSCLE STRAINS & SPRAINS: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond and Hempseed Oil (Infused with Arnica), Beeswax, Essential Oil Blend of Frankincense & Lavender

• Arnica Salve is an effective topical pain-relieving salve, in particular, for use on sore muscles, tender joints, bruises and for a variety of aches and pains! Got carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, or arthritic joints? Then definitely give this one a try! Arnica is known for speeding up the healing process and is effective at reducing swelling. Frankincense and Lavender add to its intense anti-inflammatory and pain relieving qualities! It can also be used to promote pain-relief and healing of minor topical skin wounds.*

 HEADACHE RELIEF: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond & Hempseed Oils (Infused with Arnica, Peppermint & Spearmint), Beeswax, Lavender Essential Oil

• Arnica, Peppermint, Spearmint & Lavendar create an effective combo for easing tension and stress headaches and can even soothe and take the edge off a migraine! Simply rub a small amount on the forehead, temples, back of neck and sinus areas... then repeat as needed. For my full blown headaches and/or when Tylenol just isn't enough, I feel like this salve finishes the job! It works best at early onset - so keep this salve nearby!*

 ECZEMA EASE: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond Oil (Infused with Yarrow, Calendula, Plantain & Comfrey), Beeswax, Essential Oil Blend of Lavender & Frankincense

• Both my Nativity Salve & my Fall Salve formulas contain yarrow as the base herb - AND BOTH have received rave reviews when it comes to managing eczema outbreaks! So, because those are both seasonal blends, I went to work researching specifically what additional herbs I could ADD to my already amazing yarrow base to target eczema specifically - and that's how this formula was born! This combination of herbs and essential oils is a surprisingly effective combo for soothing the most stubborn eczema! Simply apply to affected areas and repeat as needed throughout the day. Works best at onset - so keep this salve nearby! This formula is especially great for sensitive skin and is generally okay for little ones, just test a small patch first!

 LADY CRAMP CALMER: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond and Hempseed Oils (Infused with Rapsberry Leaf, Arnica & Chamomile), Beeswax, Essential Oil Blend of Clary Sage & Lavender 

• This salve is a MUST HAVE in our home... between me and my 2 daughters, we never leave home without it! For us, Tylenol and Iburpohen (or Midol - or any combination thereof) is just NOT enough. It wasn't until we discovered Raspberry Leaf that we were able to find any true amount of relief. Since then, this salve has single handedly reduced my personal usage of Tylenol during "that time of the month" to ZERO.  Red Raspberry Leaf is the main star of this salve... but when I started researching more and playing with the formula, I found that by combining Raspberry Leaf, Arnica, and Chamomile infused oil with Lavender and Clary Sage Essential Oils - I ended up creating a painfree HOMERUN! This unique combination of herbs and essential oils is an incredibly effective combo for relieving the most stubborn monthly period cramps - and this I speak from personal experience!

• Over the counter menthol ointments are based with petroleum... a by-product of gasoline!! No thank you!! This salve is made with NATURAL menthol crystals that come the mint plant! Combine and infuse that with Eucalypus and Lavender and they work together to clear congestion, relieve tightness in the chest, open airways and relive sinus pressure. It's a petroleum-free alternative to common Vapor Rubs. Rub on chest and breath the vapors deeply. Keep away from eyes.*

 DRAWING SALVE: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond Oil (Infused with Yarrow), Activated Charcoal, Bentonite Clay, Beeswax, Tea Tree Essential Oil

• Got a stubborn splinter that is too deep to grab with tweezers? Use this salve to "draw" it out! The Yarrow and Tea Tree will work over-time to prevent infection while the activated charcoal and bentonite clay coax pesky splinters to the surface. Dab a small amount directly on the splinter, cover with a bandage overnight, wash, then remove exposed splinter. Repeat if necessary. It can also be used for boils, stingers, and in general, for drawing impurities and foreign objects out of your skin. It works by softening the skin, this softening also creates pus that helps push the object out. This WILL STAIN bedding and clothing, so make sure it's covered!*

 HAPPY FEET SALVE: (INGREDIENTS) Sweet Almond Oil (Infused with Calendula, Dandelion, Yarrow, Comfrey & Arnica), Beeswax & Essential Oil Blend of Lavender, Peppermint & Tea Tree 

• Time to get your feet flip flop ready!! This salve is formulated to heal cracks (then prevent them)! It's also pain relieving, refreshing, will prevent odor, tackle athletes foot, and when used daily - will even begin to reduce any yellowness and thickness you might have in your nails!  HEMP SALVE {Neuropathy}: (INGREDIENTS) Hempseed Oil (Infused with Arnica & Chamomile), Beeswax, Menthol Crystals & Essential Oil Blend of Lavender, Frankincense, Eucalyptus & Tea Tree 

• This salve has been swirling in my test kitchen for YEARS and it's finally ready to share! Many of you know my husband is a two-time cancer survivor - but it left him dealing with severe peripheral neuropathy. We went to a premier pain clinic in NYC every week for a YEAR to try to achieve pain management and nothing... not Lyrica, not gabapentin, not any combination of ANY pharmaceutical worked. In fact, studying neuropathy and pain management for the last 9 years to help him when doctors couldn't was the driving catalyst that started my herb journey!  I'm super happy with this formula - and a little bit extra proud of myself as it's my most amazing formula yet (well, in my opinion anyway)! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

• WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of the oil in the salve is 1-2 years. However, to enjoy its medicinal benefits the most, I recommend using within a year.
  
  
• HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 2-3x daily as needed (use less if it's a tiny area, of course)! In general, a minor topical skin issue will use much less salve than a joint or muscle issue where you are massaging the salve in. See my website or check your product label for specific application recommendations.
  
  
• ARE SALVES SAFE FOR BABIES & SENSITIVE SKIN? I haven't conducted FDA approved clinical trials, so I can't label my salves as "for sensitive skin" or "baby safe." But, I can tell you MANY of my close friends and family use my salves on themselves and their families OFTEN & REGULARLY with great success and confidence. Just like with ANY new skin care product, there is always a potential for allergies or irritation... so test a small area first before using regularly or on a larger area. If you have KNOWN allergies, take note of the ingredient list provided on each label. And, of course, discontinue use if any kind of reaction or irritation occurs. My base oil is derived from almonds. Salves with menthol crystals, camphor, peppermint and eucalyptus are NOT intended for young children and babies.
  
  
• A NOTE ABOUT CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.
