If you tried and LOVED either my Dandelion or Fall Salves, you will LOVE this new release! With the holidays and gift giving in mind... I formulated a Nativity Blend with Yarrow, Frankincense, Lavender & Myrrh. Yarrow is infused into my base oil - making it a powerhouse infection fighter, pain-reliever and skin healer. Frankincense and Lavender are anti-bacterial, are known widely for their wound healing properties, they aid in reduction of redness, relieve skin irritations, and are known analgesics! Myrrh, packed with anti-oxidants, makes it an exceptional addition to this blend for it's skin rejuvination and wound treatment properties!

In our home... We use this salve to soothe cuts, scrapes, cracks, burns, stings, bites, chafed skin, dry patches, dry elbows, dry knuckles, hangnails, itchy spots, general skin irritations, rashes, minor wounds, acne, and more! Although my FAVORITE use is as a facial/night cream!

Special Note... I wanted to design the tag to make the salve "gift ready" and absolutely had to include a reference to the Savior, as He is the Master Healer.

It's green... will it stain? I've used this salve repeatedly and have never had any clothing stain. However... I probably wouldn't use it while in my wedding dress, and definitely don't send it through the laundry! {wink, wink!}

A NOTE ABOUT MY SALVES:

My salves are released in small homemade batches after a special (and proprietary) infusion process that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! In our home, we grab a salve before we EVER pop a pill!

ABOUT YARROW: Yarrow grows all over the world in meadows, grasslands, mountains and foothills! It is PACKED with medicinal benefits... and when applied as a salve, it's a skin healing bombshell! It's antiseptic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial which helps prevent infection, reduce pain (particularly throbbing) and speeds the healing of minor skin wounds and irritations. It's EXCELLENT for healing acne, it's magical for warts and is also known to improve the appearance of vericose viens when used regularly!

ABOUT FRANKINCENSE: Frankincense Oil is prepared from the hardened gum resins that come from tapping Boswellia trees. It has anti-bacterial properties, is known widely for its wound healing properties, it reduces redness, relieves irritations, and is a known analgesic (or pain reliever)!

ABOUT LAVENDER: Besides its divine aroma, it's widely know for its anti-microbial properties and has been used for centuries to fight infection. It's full of anti-oxidants which contribute to it's ability to speed the healing of burns, cuts and wounds by accelerating skin re-generation. It's a natural pain reliever and reduces inflammation!
ABOUT MYRRH: Myrrh is a sap collected from tapping the Commiphora Myrrha tree. It naturally inhibits microbial growth and is packed with anti-oxidants, making it an exceptional addition to this blend for its skin rejuvination and wound treatment properties.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.
SHELF LIFE: The shelf life of the oil is 1-2 years. So don't put this away in a 72 hour kit that won't get touched for a few years... keep it in your medicine cabinet and you'll find that you'll use it ALL the time! It'll be gone well before the oil in the salve would go bad.

Nativity Balm

I ordered one of the Nativity Balm for myself and 6 or 7 for Christmas stocking stuffers this Christmas plus several mini size. It works so well on cuts and scrapes I get working in my yard and in my kitchen. ( A bit careless with my knives!
However, I found it amazing when I accidentally poured boiling broth over my left hand/palm and fingers. Plunged my hand in ice water a few minutes then covered it liberally with the Nativity Balm. I was amazed to see that there was never a blister, the hand was not sore and skin redness disappeared.
It’s a great product and I definitely recommend that you keep it handy in your home.
