Warts are stubborn - but so is this salve! Infused with nature’s finest wart-fighters like yarrow, lemon balm, and oregano, this formula tackles the problem at its source. Poke root and castor oil work behind the scenes to keep your lymph flowing and your skin clear. And, because I HATE harsh, drying treatments that make the wart sore, I added calendula, holy basil, lavender, and frankincense to keep your skin calm, soothed, and supported every step of the way!

✱ Warts are viral and contagious. I do not recommend sharing salves - that could spread them. Each individual should have their own tin.

NOTE: While there are strong ingredients in this formula (like oregano, poke root, and thuja essential oil), they are all used at (or below) generally recommended safe dilutions. However, as with any product, if you experience irritation, discontinue use. Do not use on deeply cracked or bleeding warts - try my Skin & Wound Salve FIRST to heal the crack, then apply What Wart once it's healed up a bit! This product is not intended for pregnant or nursing moms or children under age 3.

FOR BEST RESULTS:

Softening the wart first by washing/rinsing/soaking with warm water will allow the salve to soak in deeper.
Consistency is the key here and will make all the difference. For REAL results, use 2-3 times a day, every day. Missing days will erase your progress!
Continue using the salve(s) for up to a week after it's gone, just to be sure it doesn't sneak back on you!
No need to smother it! A "dab" is sufficient during the day, especially if you've softened it with warm water.
For stubborn warts - before bed... soak/soften area by washing with warm water. Apply a thicker layer of salve, then cover with a bandaid. Remove it in the morning - after your regular routine, then apply a light coat of salve.

My salves, infused oils, lotions, creams and scrubs are handcrafted in small batches using special (and proprietary) infusion processes that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! In our home, we grab a salve before we EVER pop a pill!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of my salves is 1-2 years; however you'll enjoy the most medicinal benefit within the first year.
HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 2-3x daily as needed (use less if it's a tiny area, of course)! In general, a minor topical skin issue will use much less salve than a joint or muscle issue where you are massaging the salve in. See my website or check your product label for specific application recommendations.
ARE SALVES SAFE FOR BABIES & SENSITIVE SKIN? Many of my close friends and family use my salves on themselves and their families regularly with great success and confidence. Just like with ANY new skin care product, there is always a potential for allergies or irritation... so test a small area first before using regularly or on a larger area. If you have KNOWN allergies, take note of the ingredient list provided on each label. And, of course, discontinue use if any kind of reaction or irritation occurs. Salves with menthol crystals, camphor, peppermint and eucalyptus are NOT intended for young children and babies.
A NOTE ABOUT CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.

It has a green or yellow hue... will it stain? I've used these salves repeatedly and have never had any clothing stain. However... I probably wouldn't use it while in my wedding dress, and definitely don't send it through the laundry! {wink, wink!}

What Wart Works!

I had a plantar wart on the bottom of my foot for over two years. I tried almost everything to get rid of it. Nothing helped and it actually got bigger and started to hurt. I ordered the What Wart and used it as directed. Within a month the wart was gone. Thank you for an amazing product!

I had a terrible wart on my index finger for YEARS, so embarrassing, I hated it. I basically went once a year to get it frozen, but because it was partially under my nail, the dermatologist said it would probably never go away and we could only manage it to keep it from getting too big. UGH!!! In between my yearly derm visit, I did all kinds of over the counter treatments. Some things helped, but nothing worked. Decided to try this and OH MY GOSH. I used the salve faithfully, usually twice a day, sometimes 3 for barely a month and not only did it shrink slowly. IT IS GONE. I had this thing for at least 7 years - it's gone and stayed gone. We have tried everything to get rid of these stubborn warts, from freezing to cutting them off to over the counter meds. My kids would apply the What Wart Extra every night before bed and within month all warts were gone. The kids had zero pain and used no bandaids. We are in shock and appreciate you for this ointment.

It's working!!

I've been using What Wart Extra for a week and with daily use the largest wart on my heel is shrinking rapidly. I have a few smaller ones that are giving me trouble; they have shrunk so much I'm having a hard time finding them to keep applying the salve!

Amazing!

With 10 kids, we have our fair share of warts around here! I have tried all the remedies from essential oils to ACV to freezing it off at the doctors office (ouch!) and had mixed results. The OTC remedies dry out the skin and don’t always work, so when I saw this salve I thought—why not? I took away the wart, but the unexpected side effect was no damage to the surrounding skin! It quickly made the wart disappear and I felt like the skin around it was made even softer. This salve receives a big thumbs up from me. Now I need to order it again so I am never without it!

Fantastic Results!

This is the best wart treatment I have ever tried. Although my plantar wart has not vanished completely yet (I have only been using this 2x/day for 3 weeks), about 5 days ago the skin right on top of the wart just kind of peeled off. It did not leave a jagged edge or cause any pain. I am hopeful that this will happen a few more times until the plantar wart has gone! I know it is deep and may require a few months of treatment instead of just weeks. It has been burned off twice by a doc and caused great pain and has not gone.
