ALL-PURPOSE SKIN SALVE

If you LOVED my Dandelion Salve this past Spring... you will "FALL" in love immediately with my Fall Salve! After the dandelions poof and disappear, Mother Nature sends a new flower to bloom... YARROW! It has amazingly similar medicinal properties to dandelion (anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic) and when I pair it with the common Summer plant plantain, it becomes a powerhouse infection fighter, pain-reliever and skin healer! Infused together in oil, they merge to become a skin-soothing balm that tackles all of your Winter skin woes.

In our home... We use it to soothe and heal bug bites, stings, scrapes, cuts, burns, scars, cracks, dry/chaffed skin, dry elbows, diaper rash, rashes and general skin conditions, sore hangnails, weird dry spots, and more! Planatain and Yarrow are both analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial making this salve an infection fighter and pain reducer. In our home, we consider it an all-purpose skin healing balm - it's packed with minerals and vitamins as well which promotes general healing for MANY skin conditions.*

NOTE: Similar to how we sometimes alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen... for ongoing skin issues, I LOVE to alternate Fall Salve and Dandelion Salve! They achieve similar results, but with different herbs that have different compounds!

INGREDIENTS: Sweet Almond & Sunflower Oils (Infused with Yarrow & Plantain), Beeswax, Lavender Essential Oil
Allergy note... Sweet Almond Oil is derived from Almonds.
It's yellow... will it stain? I've used these salves repeatedly and have never had any clothing stain. However... I probably wouldn't use it while in my wedding dress, and definitely don't send it through the laundry! {wink, wink!}

A NOTE ABOUT MY SALVES:

My salves are released in small homemade batches after a special (and proprietary) infusion process that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! In our home, we grab a salve before we EVER pop a pill!

ABOUT YARROW: Yarrow grows all over the world in meadows, grasslands, mountains and foothills! It is PACKED with medicinal benefits... and when applied as a salve, it's a skin healing bombshell! It's antiseptic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial which helps prevent infection, reduce pain (particularly throbbing) and speeds the healing of minor skin wounds and irritations. It's EXCELLENT for healing acne, it's magical for warts and is also known to improve the appearance of vericose viens when used regularly! *IF SELF-HARVESTING, BEWARE OF ITS TOXIC LOOK-A-LIKES!

ABOUT PLANTAIN: Plantain is often considered a weed! It grows in yards, gardens, along roadsides and particularly loves growing in gravel driveways and in concrete cracks! Medicinally, it's considered an all-purpose skin healer! From bites to burns, cuts to scrapes, itchy patches and irritations, this is often the first plant an experienced herbalist will grab when dealing with skin issues. It's naturally anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory making it an excellent addition to any salve!

ABOUT LAVENDER: Besides its divine aroma, it's widely know for its anti-microbial properties and has been used for centuries to fight infection. It's full of anti-oxidants which contribute to it's ability to speed the healing of burns, cuts and wounds by accelerating skin re-generation. It's a natural pain reliever and reduces inflammation!
ABOUT MYRRH: Myrrh is a sap collected from tapping the Commiphora Myrrha tree. It naturally inhibits microbial growth and is packed with anti-oxidants, making it an exceptional addition to this blend for its skin rejuvination and wound treatment properties.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of my salves is 1-2 years; however you'll enjoy the most medicinal benefit within the first year.
HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 2-3x daily as needed (use less if it's a tiny area, of course)! In general, a minor topical skin issue will use much less salve than a joint or muscle issue where you are massaging the salve in. See my website or check your product label for specific application recommendations.
ARE SALVES SAFE FOR BABIES & SENSITIVE SKIN? Many of my close friends and family use my salves on themselves and their families regularly with great success and confidence. Just like with ANY new skin care product, there is always a potential for allergies or irritation... so test a small area first before using regularly or on a larger area. If you have KNOWN allergies, take note of the ingredient list provided on each label. And, of course, discontinue use if any kind of reaction or irritation occurs. Salves with menthol crystals, camphor, peppermint and eucalyptus are NOT intended for young children and babies.
A NOTE ABOUT CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.

Magic!

My husband has skin cancer all over his face and arms (too much sun over a lifetime). He had to have topical chemo treatments to burn off the cancerous problems which results in painful weeping sores. A prescription is provided to treat the sores, but it was not doing much and the pain was awful. I suggested he try the fall salve as it is meant for burns and sores. He used it before bed and enjoyed a peaceful night. He was surprised in the morning at how much better his arms and face both looked and felt. He continued to use it and healed far more quickly than had happened with any previous treatment. Thank you!!

Salve of the year

This stuff is amazing!! It does it all. Heals those cracked feet, not a problem. Have a scratch that wont heal, no problem. I am just amazed at all the wonderful things it does do!!

I love the fall salve. I tend to bruise easily, and I have really appreciated how it helps the bruising to diminish more quickly. It is smooth and feels great on my skin! It has also helped so much with my dried out cuticles.

Relief in a tin!

I had bee sting that was giving me fits. This salve relieved the stinging, itching, and swelling! What a relief. i also use it for dry skin problem areas.

I love this salve!

I have been alternating the Fall Salve and the Dandelion Salve and they are both very soothing. I have been treating some really rough spots on my elbows and the spots are becoming very soft. Success! I am thankful to have found these wonderful salves. Thanks so much!

Can't live without this!

I love this salve (and several others from this store)! I can't imagine how I ever survived without it. I use it for sore muscles, burns, bug bites and bee stings. I bet I could use it for everything and it would fix it. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!
