✱ Because my Dandelion Salve and Fall Salve are seasonal, I wanted to create a combination of the two that I could offer year-round. What ended up happening was a formula that even blew my mind!! Calendula, Dandelion, Yarrow & Plantain are skin-loving herbs that support cell re-generation and speed up healing time. In our home, we use "SKIN & WOUND" Salve on bug bites, stings, scrapes, cuts, burns, scars, acne, cracks, dry/chafed skin, dry elbows, diaper rash, rashes, hangnails, weird dry spots, and more. Its analgesic, pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties make it an effective infection fighter and pain reducer! *

INGREDIENTS: Sweet Almond & Sunflower Oils (Infused with Calendula, Dandelion, Yarrow & Plantain), Beeswax & Lavender Essential Oil
Allergy note... Sweet Almond Oil is derived from Almonds.
It's yellow... will it stain? I've used these salves repeatedly and have never had any clothing stain. However... I probably wouldn't use it while in my wedding dress, and definitely don't send it through the laundry! {wink, wink!}

A NOTE ABOUT MY SALVES:

My salves are released in small homemade batches after a special (and proprietary) infusion process that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! In our home, we grab a salve before we EVER pop a pill!

ABOUT CALENDULA FLOWERS: Calendula flowers have antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic, can help calm redness, reduces inflammation and can ease skin discomfort. It's skin-loving properties make it an excellent addition to any skin soothing salve!

ABOUT DANDELION FLOWERS: Dandelions are full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants making them a crusader against free radicals and powerful fighters for cellular health and skin recovery. They are also anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and are a natural anti-histamine - which is why when used as a salve, it's particularly AMAZING for calming bug bites and stings! It can reduce redness, reduce itching, decrease flakiness and speed up recovery time of many irritating skin conditions.

ABOUT LAVENDER: Besides its divine aroma, it's widely know for its anti-microbial properties and has been used for centuries to fight infection. It's full of anti-oxidants which contribute to it's ability to speed the healing of burns, cuts and wounds by accelerating skin re-generation. It's a natural pain reliever and reduces inflammation!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of the oil in the salve is 1-2 years. However, to enjoy its medicinal benefits the most, I recommend using within a year.
HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 2-3x daily as needed (use less if it's a tiny area, of course)! In general, a minor topical skin issue will use much less salve than a joint or muscle issue where you are massaging the salve in. See my website or check your product label for specific application recommendations.
ARE SALVES SAFE FOR BABIES & SENSITIVE SKIN? I haven't conducted FDA approved clinical trials, so I can't label my salves as "for sensitive skin" or "baby safe." But, I can tell you MANY of my close friends and family use my salves on themselves and their families OFTEN & REGULARLY with great success and confidence. Just like with ANY new skin care product, there is always a potential for allergies or irritation... so test a small area first before using regularly or on a larger area. If you have KNOWN allergies, take note of the ingredient list provided on each label. And, of course, discontinue use if any kind of reaction or irritation occurs. Salves with menthol crystals, camphor, peppermint and eucalyptus are NOT intended for young children and babies.
A NOTE ABOUT CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.

Soothing & Healing!

I had a bad burn on my hand and this helped soothe and heal it! It also felt great on dry cracked skin from the dry winter air!

Skin & Wound

I sliced my finger with a metal craft die, altho it wasn’t a big cut, it was bleeding a lot, I washed it then wiped up, I kept wiping the blood, thought of my “skin & wound” salve, put it on my cut & IT STOPPED BLEEDING😲🤷🏼‍♀️😲 I don’t kno why I’m surprised, all of these salves are amazing!!

LOVE IT!

I use this mostly for skin relief of all kinds. I had a patch on my arm that I suspected was infection. I used this and after several days I noticed improvement and now is gone. Great product!

Wonderful on bug bites and burns!

This year the mosquitoes have been horrible. When we come inside miserable from the bites we put the salve on and it calms the itching fairly quickly. It's a lifesaver!
I burned myself touching a hot pan. I used it daily and it healed quickly. Probably the salve I use the most.

Helpful with skin and filler for little!!

This has helped with some skin irritations as well as some bruises and things. I also love that this one is a little more gentle and will put it on my littlest for her "night time lotion" since the happy feet is not recommended for kids. Her brother uses the eczema one and she felt left out but the lavender in this also helped her sleep!

Stitches

My son sliced his leg on a mirror. It required 12 stitches. We used this everyday morning and night and I was amazed at how quickly it healed without the normal redness and swelling that typically sticks around for a while. Very impressed!

Works great on acne!!

After trying several over the counter and doctor prescribed acne regimens with no results, my teenage daughters face was irritated, inflamed and breaking out constantly. She has very sensitive skin, so we were a little cautious using this on her already irritated skin. Within a week the irritation and inflammation were gone. She has been using it daily for over a month and her skin is clearing up nicely with no signs of acne.
