I can't even TELL YOU how much {commercial} lip balm we used to go through at my house... it was NOT GOOD. Our lips had long since been able to produce their own moisture and we were ALL addicted to it. So, I made it my mission to create a smooth, HEALING lip balm to moisturize and restore our lips. My ultimate goal was to use LESS and we achieved just that! This collection is FAMOUS among my friends and family... and I'm finally ready to share it with you!
FOUR OPTIONS: Each lip balm is made with the same herb-infused base oil; then the "assorted" varieties differ by what type of butter and what essential oil I added to the base oil. The base oil is infused with Calendula, Dandelion, Yarrow, Comfrey and Arnica - my most powerfully healing blend yet! Your lips will thank you!!

A NOTE ABOUT MY BALMS & SALVES:
My salves are released in small homemade batches after a special (and proprietary) infusion process that took me 6 years to develop! My goal is to move as much of the natural medicinal goodness as I can from the herbs into the oil... and the result is a whole line of salves that have been uniquely currated to be surprisingly effective! In our home, we grab a salve before we EVER pop a pill!
ABOUT DANDELION: Dandelions are full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants making them a crusader against free radicals and powerful fighters for cellular health and skin recovery. They are also anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and are a natural anti-histamine. It can reduce redness, reduce itching, decrease flakiness and speed up recovery time of many irritating skin conditions.
ABOUT CALENDULA: Calendula flowers have antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic, can help calm redness, reduces inflammation and can ease skin discomfort. It's skin-loving properties make it an excellent addition to any skin soothing salve or balm!
ABOUT YARROW: Yarrow is widely known for it's skin healing properties. It is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial which helps prevent infection, reduce redness and is known to speed the healing of minor skin wounds and irritations. It's particularly fantastic at speeding up the healing of cracks!
ABOUT COMFREY: One of the most desireable components in comfrey leaves is allantoin, which is known to promote cell formation that aids in healing at the cellular level! Comfrey ointments have been used for centuries to heal broken skin, calm redness and reduce bruising. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties making it a great topical pain reliever as well!
ABOUT ARNICA: Thanks to its high concentration of sesquiterpenes, it's an effective analgesic and is anti-inflammatory. It's applied to the skin as a cream, ointment, salve, or tincture and is generally known to soothe skin, reduce inflammation, treat burns, and heal minor topical wounds.
ABOUT LAVENDER: Besides its divine aroma, it's widely know for its anti-microbial properties and has been used for centuries to fight infection. It's full of anti-oxidants which contribute to it's ability to speed the healing of burns, cuts and wounds by accelerating skin re-generation. It's a natural pain reliever and reduces inflammation!
ABOUT FRANKINCENSE: Frankincense Oil is prepared from the hardened gum resins that come from tapping Boswellia trees. It has anti-bacterial properties, is known widely for its wound healing properties, it reduces redness, relieves irritations, and is a known analgesic (or pain reliever)!
ABOUT PEPPERMINT: This leafy mint will add a fun burst of cool! It contains menthol which can help relax muscles and stimulating blood flow to the area.
