OPTION 1: SALVE DUO (A&B): Recieve two .5 oz tins

• SALVE "A" Herbs: Lemon Balm, St. Johns Wort, Yarrow, Holy Basil 
• Base Oil: Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil
• Essential Oils: Lavender, Tea Tree, White Cedar
• USAGE: Start with "Salve A" - apply a "dab" 2-3x daily... that's it! Cover with a bandage if you feel like clothing will rub the salve off. You'll use "Salve A" for the first 10-14 days.

I chose this blend of herbs for several reasons... they are skin-loving, calming and soothing... PLUS they are each widely considered safe for the skin our favorite little humans! When combined, they'll soothe and speed up the natural healing process for things like diaper rash, cradle cap, dry skin and other minor skin irritations. Each of these herbs is anti-inflammatory which helps reduce redness and can also offer topical pain relief. They are also known infection fighters and are overall known to be very gentle and calming to skin.

HOW TO USE IT: Simply apply like lotion or cream on affected areas and repeat as needed throughout the day. This formula is especially gentle and the ingredients are widely regarded as safe for little ones... but I do recommend testing a small patch first before regular use.

• Allergy note... Sweet Almond Oil is derived from Almonds. 
• It's looks light green... will it stain? I've used these salves repeatedly and have never had any clothing stain. However... I probably wouldn't use it while in my wedding dress, and definitely don't send it through the laundry! {wink, wink!} 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

• WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of my salves is 1-2 years; however you'll enjoy the most medicinal benefit within the first year.
  
  
• HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 2-3x daily as needed (use less if it's a tiny area, of course)! In general, a minor topical skin issue will use much less salve than a joint or muscle issue where you are massaging the salve in. See my website or check your product label for specific application recommendations.
  
  
• ARE SALVES SAFE FOR BABIES & SENSITIVE SKIN? Many of my close friends and family use my salves on themselves and their families regularly with great success and confidence. Just like with ANY new skin care product, there is always a potential for allergies or irritation... so test a small area first before using regularly or on a larger area. If you have KNOWN allergies, take note of the ingredient list provided on each label. And, of course, discontinue use if any kind of reaction or irritation occurs. Salves with menthol crystals, camphor, peppermint and eucalyptus are NOT intended for young children and babies.
  
  
• A NOTE ABOUT CONSISTENCY: Depending on the temperatures where you live, your salve will arrive with a general consistency between a neosporin-type oinment and a slightly firm vaseline. Softness of the salve will vary based on your particular climate and seasonal temperature. Since the salve contains beeswax, avoid leaving in a hot car or in the sun to prevent melting. Your tin will be shrink wrapped to prevent any dripping if it does happen to soften during transit. If melting does occur, simply put it in the refrigerator to return it to its normal consistency.
