Whether your goal is to find an effective, low cost alternative to expensive laundry soap "jugs", you want more control over the ingredients in your home, you prefer less waste... OR you're just a DIY-er at heart... this recipe is a MUST TRY! I originally started playing with these ingredients about 10 years ago, when as a young mom, I realized it was WAY less expensive than that big orange laundry jug! BUT! It has worked so well for me over the years, I now love it for its simple ingredients, lovely clean scent, and less waste hitting my garbage can!

THIS LISTING INCLUDES: 1 PDF with written instructions, recipe cards, and labels for your laundry soap! This recipe makes a 386 oz batch... good for 250-300 loads.

INGREDIENTS: OxiClean, Borax, Super Washing Soda, Baking Soda, Fels-Naptha Bar Soap, Scent Booster (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS: Add 2 TBSP to 1/4 Cup powder to drum FIRST. Load laundry on top and run cycle like normal.

NOTE: This recipe lasts my family of four 8-10 months; or approximately 250 loads (we average 6 loads per week).

Love this laundry powder recipe

Love this new laundry powder recipe! We have sensitive skin and have to use free and clear options which are hard to find in powder. I left out the scent beads and used free and clear oxy clean and it hasn’t bothered our skin at all but has a nice fresh scent without the chemical smell that most free and clear detergents have. It cleans clothes well!

Surprisingly easy

I always thought that making my own laundry detergent would be way too difficult. Collett recipe was fast and easy and I loved how customizable it was.

I downloaded the freebie because I loved it and thought it may come in handy someday. When it was posted that samples of the soap would be available for purchase to sample I was excited and decided to give it a try! I loved how clean and fresh smelling my clothes were.
